Uttar Pradesh government has proposed UP Free Laptop Yojana 2019 with a budget of Rs. 1800 crore by the newly formed BJP government led by Yogi Adityanath. The BJP government mentioned the free laptop distribution scheme in its Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra presented ahead of the elections in the state. In 2012, the education department estimated distribution of free new laptops to more than 18 Lakh students but now the department estimates that the number of students who will be given free laptops is about 12 Lakh.

भाजपा सरकार ने अपने लोक कल्याण संकल्प पत्र में नि: शुल्क लैपटॉप वितरण योजना का उल्लेख राज्य में चुनाव से पहले किया था। 2012 में, शिक्षा विभाग ने 18 लाख से अधिक छात्रों को नि: शुल्क लैपटॉप का वितरण करने का अनुमान लगाया था लेकिन अब विभाग का अनुमान है कि मुफ्त लांच किए जाने वाले छात्रों की संख्या लगभग 12 लाख है।

According to the proposal, the state government would provide free laptops along with 1GB data to 12th Pass students who take admission in higher studies. Under the UP free Laptop scheme, as per the proposal, each unit of new laptop would cost about Rs. 15000 which has been accepted in principle and is likely to be tabled in the budget session. The new state government of UP taking up several initiatives to improve the education level in the state. Rs. 2500 crore has been earmarked for distribution of school bags, uniform, and books to students up to 12th class belonging to poor families.

उत्तर प्रदेश की नई राज्य सरकार ने राज्य में शिक्षा स्तर में सुधार के लिए कई पहल की हैं। गरीब परिवारों के 12 वीं कक्षा तक के छात्रों को स्कूल बैग, वर्दी, और किताबों के वितरण के लिए 2500 करोड़ रुपये निर्धारित किए गए हैं।

The state government will soon introduce a new scheme for the modernization of about 350 schools in the state. The government has allocated Rs. 175 crore for the new scheme which is likely to be named as “Atal Utkrisht Vidhyalaya Yojna”.

राज्य सरकार जल्द ही राज्य में लगभग 350 स्कूलों के आधुनिकीकरण के लिए एक नई योजना शुरू करेगी। सरकार ने नई योजना के लिए 175 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए हैं, जिसे “अटल उत्कृष्ठ विद्यालय योजना” नामित किया जा सकता है।
