Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has launched the Yoga Lakshmi Scheme. MCC launches Mysuru Yoga Lakshmi scheme to offer financial assistance to girls delivered at government hospital. Under this scheme, sum of Rs.25,000 to be deposit in the name of girl child.
In addition to this, girl will be eligible to withdraw the money once she attains the age of 18 as a result no one will be able to withdraw money from her account. This will secure her money till she attains the age of 18. And this is the great benefit of MCC Yoga Laxmi scheme.
Mysuru Yoga Lakshmi Scheme 2019
Previously, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) presented the budget with an outlay of Rs.775 crore for the year 2019-20 and this also includes many schemes for the people welfare. One them is Yogalakshmi Scheme, that included Rs.25,000 for each girl child born in government hospitals in the City.

Under this Karnataka state scheme, Rs.25,000 will be deposited in the form of a bond in a nationalized bank in the name of each girl child which is born in the government hospital. Mysore Municipal corporation has already set aside Rs.2.5 crore budget for this scheme.
